A quiet country home located on 10 acres. Parking is near the gates to enter the staircase down to the apartment. A handrail is available for your convenience. You enter into the kitchen and sitting area. A bedroom w/TV & DVD player, a sitting room, a bathroom with a shower. Trees hide the house from the road and provide a secluded retreat for visitors, walking trails, a pond, deck for sitting and enjoying the outdoors. Next to the city but definitely a country vibe. The space It's next to the city but has a country feel with walking trails on the 10 acres. We do live in the house above the apt so you do hear some noise. Located on the southeast side of Wichita and the North end of Derby close to McConnell Airbase, only 4 - 5 miles from several restaurants and shopping. Early mornings you might see wild turkeys, deer, hawks, and other birds that are frequent visitors. DVDs, puzzles, games, magazines are available for guests. Guest access This is a basement apartment, the bedroom has a queen-size bed. The bathroom has plenty of counter space and shower with plenty of hot water. Quite country area. Large lawn and pond, sit back read a book, throw a pole in the pond. Located just 1/4 mile off the blacktop. Wood trails you can go exploring on. Located on 10 acres nestled in the trees escape the city. Often you will see wild turkeys and deer in the yard. I have 3 small dogs that have access to the yard, so two gates help ensure they do not escape when you come. The water has a filter and there is a Keurig coffee machine. **New 1/2018 we have Laundry Facilites available at NO extra charge. Other things to note No Smoking. 9:00 PM -6:00 AM Quiet time. 1/1/2020 changed internet providers for a better connection. We do live in the house so you will hear some noise. The TV has a Firestick No parties. No pets House is heated and cooled with geothermal. The unit is located behind the refrigerator & does make some noise when it is running. A fan and space heater are located in the closet. We have Laundry Facilities at no extra charge!!
