Cute Apartment Macklind district

Stay in the Macklind district/ SOHA neighborhood. Second floor deco era apartment. Hardwood floors, pink tile bathroom with stained glass window. 42" TV with HBO, free WiFi. Queen size Tempurpedic bed. Aquasana shower and kitchen sink filter. Numerous restaurants, snack bars and coffee shops on Macklind! 6 miles or less to The Grove, Missouri Botanical gardens, Cherokee district and Tower Grove Park! The space This is a shotgun style private apartment with a shared basement, also accessible by the first floor tenant. It also has a deck out back off the bedroom. It's a cute 800 square foot place with a galley kitchen and has some fun retro features like glass blocks, stained glass and built in cubbies in the wall. The basement door and back deck door have skeleton keys, and most of the door knobs have neat deco knob plates. It is on a quiet street with mostly houses and families. Guest access You are renting a full private apartment with a shared basement with washer and dryer. Other things to note A couple of things are reversed in this apartment. The front storm door handle opens by lifting up. You have to pull the front door towards you slightly as you turn the key toward the door jam to unlock. The hot and cold on the shower are reversed according to the indicator . Lastly, the toilette flushes with an electronic assist flusher. Just push the flusher handle with a quick, firm press and you're done! It's an old, quirky place :)
