Listen to the bells from the Shrine of the Sun at dusk or even the trumpets of Retreat at Fort Carson later in the evening. The kitchen was recently renovated and became the focal point for the open concept. Upgraded appliances were installed. High end quartz countertops were also placed for the exceptional resiliency to heat, cold, and stains. Enjoy the additional coffee bar for preparing your favorite drinks. Just off the kitchen you will find two separate dining areas. The master bedroom sits upstairs on the northern side of the home and boasts a stunning 11 foot window that gives ample views of the lights in the city at night. On the second floor there are 3 additional bedrooms and 1 additional bath. These bedrooms include 3 twin beds, a full bed, and a queen bed for plenty of accommodation for large groups. The basement offers several options specifically designed for traveling families and groups. There, you will find an additional master retreat with a king bed. Quiet and closed off from the rest of the home, this is a great area for additional family members that you are traveling with. Down here, you will also find the game room with a pre-loaded arcade with over 50+ arcade games!, air hockey, and plenty of toys for younger children. Just tucked in the back of the basement is also a dark and secluded movie room with a large comfortable couch, plenty of blankets, and room to spread out. Outside you will find a ½ acre of nicely maintained grounds with room to throw a ball, a grill, playground, outdoor games, and tons of trees; several of which flower in the spring/early summer. This home was designed for the large family that likes to entertain. That said, the neighborhood is very quiet and we politely request no large events, parties, or gatherings without first coordinating. This includes pets in the house, smoking in the house and any and all other damages. Other things to note: We are only about 2 hours from several different ski areas, Monarch, Breckenridge, and Keystone to name a few. This is the perfect base for a family that wants to do more than just enjoy the local area. Guests can use anything in the house that is not behind a locked door.
