Private Farm Apartment with a View

Rural location and set far back off the road makes this a great space for a weekend in the country, staycation, or writer's retreat! Fantastic sunset views are to be experienced year round in the dining room/kitchen. We are not a waterfront property, but we have a lovely view of the Avon River. Located 1 hour from Halifax and 45 minutes from Wolfville. Suitable for mandatory two-week quarantines if arriving from out of the Atlantic Bubble. Please inquire about special pricing for such cases. The space The Apartment is attached to the main farmhouse, but has its own entrance and is set farther back from the driveway and parking. We're set far off the road (Highway 215), on a working farm where we grow vegetables for a local farmers' market and raise animals. Along with the market garden, we also grow many flowers in our flowers beds around the house and over the property. Expect to see (and occasionally hear) cows, horses, chickens, and our young dog during your stay (don't worry, you don't have to interact with her if you don't want to!). We do not accept any guests with pets. Guest access Guests will have their own private entry and foyer, as well as private kitchen, dining & living space. Non-quarantining guests may also access the shared library and sitting room (offers better Wifi as well). Other things to note Same day bookings are not always available, please send inquiry. This is a working farm with many animals, and as such we do not accept any pets or other animals to be brought onto the property. For quarantine or isolation stays, maximum occupancy is three guests.
