Timber frame lodge at the glacial woodlands edge

I built this home using Timber frame construction with recycled beautiful Douglas Fir post and beam architecture. Nestled into a beautiful forest hillside and hollow allows bird and wildlife a natural habitat. Home is located in private development just five minutes from various quaint downtown Middleton shops restaurants ; ten minutes from downtown Waunakee; 25 minutes from the heart of Madison and all its offerings; 45 minutes from Ho Chunk Casino and Wisconsin Dells water The space A wrap around deck around the upstairs great room allows 360 views of woods and walking paths and trails to consider ...the night sky viewing is year round as is sighting and listening retreat points for backyard wild bird viewing including birds of prey such as Red tailed hawks and rare sounds and sitings of great horned owls... Guest access Great room looks over a stream - pond and out a into hardwood forests with 360 degree vistas. Inside the downstairs apartment and Den is a wood burning fire place hearth, a full size bunk bed, couch,Tv area and a full bathroom with shower and tub. The Den kitchenette and apartment bedroom can be locked off for privacy. Master suite also has private entrance water garden and patio access and with view and sounds of waterfall and garden . Master bathroom - jacuzzi tub -showers do extra powder room sink in walk in closet. The timber frame great room is a shared space with a wrap around deck surrounded by forest and trail side viewing of birds and wildlife. Greatroom is off the Keto friendly full kitchen as well as an upstairs bathroom and extra shower. In all about 2 acres full of moss covered trails surrounding this lodge leading into the backyard and a one of a kind Hollow. Additional Nature observation decks, Camp fire areas, horse shoe pits, flower, vegetable raised beds and along with the water garden features. Bird watching enjoyment in this epic Wisconsin backdrop is a year long adventure. During your stay I will of course do my best to be here to welcome and help you and your guests get acclimated and comfortable.
