Located in the central, convenient, gated community at the Preserve at Grand Beach on East End of Galveston island, next to Stewart Beach, this home is just steps away from the sandy beach and the Gulf of Mexico. From the 2,310 square feet wraparound covered decks, you can enjoy the spectacular views of the sunrise from the front decks; sunset, and cruise ships docking on the harbor side from the rear decks on both stories. This home features an open concept floor plan with a modern kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and dinnerware, stainless steel appliances, wine cooler, Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart coffee maker with coffee bean grinder, instant pot, air fryer, blender, hand mixer, rice cooker, wafer maker, sandwich maker, lemonade maker. Large kitchen island with quart countertop has room for 4 swivel stools. There is high-end Reverse Osmosis water filtering system is for drinking and cooking, which has 9-stages of filtration, purification, sterilization that remove up to 99% of 1000s of contaminants and micro-organisms in tap water. The dining area has a table that seats 12 people. The living room features Italian leather sectional sofa with power recliners, 3 swivel rocking chairs, and a 65" smart Sony TV with sports, music, TV shows, movies, and news channels. An electric fireplace provides added allure. The first floor also has a half bath, a laundry room with sink, full size washer and dryer, and a bunk room that sleeps 6 people in 6 custom built-in twin extra long beds with stairs. Each bed has its own reading light and electrical outlet. The bunk room has a 55" smart Sony TV and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The bunk room also has beach view and direct access to the decks. The elevator is available for additional fee ($150 per stay). It becomes very handy when you need to carry luggage, groceries upstairs, or it is a necessity if you have elderly in your party. The second floor has four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and 55" smart TV. Three of the bedrooms have king size beds, and the fourth bedroom has a queen and a full size beds. Three of the four bedrooms have beach view. All bedrooms has access to the decks. All bedrooms are furnished with Italian modern furniture. Four beds have built-in headboard light to add warm ambiance. Each bedroom has walk-in closet with built-in drawers. All bedrooms upstairs have safe boxes in bedroom closets to store your valuables. Pamper yourself with luxury cotton bathrobes and slippers provided during your stay. The decks are furnished with Polywood outdoor furniture, including a sofa, a loveseat, 2 arm chairs, 11 Adirondack chairs, 2 double seat gliders, a 8 seat dining table on lower deck, a 4 seat counter high dining table on upper deck. There is 240V, 50A NEMA 14-50 outlet for Tesla and other EV charger with dedicated parking space in garage (please bring your own cable). The driveway can park 6 cars, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot. Additional parking is on overflow parking of the subdivision located at the end of the street. This home also has 2 dedicated workspace with 1 GHz high-speed internet, desks, and office chairs, so you can stay connected and productive during your stay. Your choice to use wi-fi, or ethernet cable which provided at the desks to plug in your laptop directly. You can also use the free Wi-Fi to stream your favorite shows or movies on any of the smart TVs in the house. BUGS: ants, mosquitoes, chiggers, palmetto bugs, cockroaches, silverfishes, spiders, love bugs, big bugs, small bugs, tiny bugs, and all kinds of bugs are part of Galveston's life. Because we are in the coastal region with wetlands and open ditches surrounding. To control these pests, the house has been scheduled to be sprayed quarterly and annually by our local pest control company. Per our pest control company, the spraying does not prevent them from crawling or flying in during the open and close of getting in and out of the house. However, if they do get in, they won't survive. You might see them unexpectedly during your stay. Do not leave the door open, close it immediately after use. Please do not bring food, snacks, candy into the bedrooms to prevent ants. Please do not leave food crumbs on the floor, inside the house will attract ants, or the ground floor, outside where the dining table is, will attract wild animals such as snakes, ants, bugs. NEW CONSTRUCTION: The house is in underdeveloped communities. We do not know exactly when new construction will start or how long to expect construction on any house to last. You may reserve a house at a time when there is no construction, but it may begin prior to your arrival. We regret any inconvenience that may result.
