Great private bedroom with reading spot on landing, and completely private bathroom. Our home is a renovated, 100 year-old farmhouse, with modern comforts (including A/C) and historic charm. Friendly, experienced hosts. (Updated photos of new amenities coming early June '18.) The space Your own private bedroom is upstairs and you can relax there in comfort and privacy. Downstairs is your own full bathroom with shower, including fresh towels, soap, and amenities. Brand new, top-of-the-line mattress, hot water kettle, table and chairs. We provide books to borrow. Your bedroom is spacious and the stairs to your room are just to your right when you come in our front door. There is a small bedside table with a reading lamp and some books. Floors are hardwood with a couple of rugs for coziness. A large closet with additional shelving is all yours. You are welcome to sit at the café table on our covered front porch, when the weather is pleasant. Guest access Enter the front door and the short staircase to the landing and your room are immediately to the right. A full downstairs bathroom is entirely yours. You have your own mini refrigerator and microwave upstairs. During your stay I am happy to answer questions! My job is in hospitality with the airlines. We aim to provide that which we seek when we travel: warm hospitality and a great space! Other things to note It's an easy walk to First Fridays in the historic part of Newberg. On Thursdays, you can pop over to Northwest Fresh Seafood in the late afternoon for their wine and seafood tastings. They sell a variety of gourmet items. Also walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, the Chehalem Cultural Center, and the post office. Within minutes of George Fox by car or a short walk. Vineyards and tasting rooms abound, including Anam Cara, just around the corner.
