The Blue Roof Barn In The Beautiful Hudson Valley

Come enjoy the pastoral Hudson Valley. Our home is located in the middle of Pine Plains with lots of outdoor/nature activities. Only 90 miles to NYC, you can enjoy long walks, biking, hiking, skiing, swimming at the lake in town, local culture or just relaxing. W/in walking distance we have a nice outdoor bar that often offers music & there are plenty of CIA trained chefs at the local restaurants. You can find fab. antiques and a wine trail to die for, come check it out! 150+ yr. old barn. The space Renovated barn; 2nd floor available (WE LIVE ON THE FIRST FLOOR). 2 bedrooms/1.5 bathrooms available and we only book to 1 family/party at a time, so no sharing of rooms or bathroom with people you don't know. You get the entire two bedroom apartment. Basketball court in yard for you to use. Home is still under renovation but minimal work will be done while booked. Vaulted ceiling in LR, large outdoor fire pit with wood we supply and plenty of outdoor seating. There is a gas grill that you are welcome to use also. All outdoor space is shared - including the hot tub. It is set to 100 degrees all the time! Guest access You have full use of the 2nd floor and front yard which has a large firepit, basketball/pickle ball court, yard games, hot tub, and grill. Other things to note We have three dogs! Two rescues, a 7 year old mix who enjoys people after an initial aloofness, and a small 8 year old mixed breed who loves to let us know when anything moves in or out of the house. This one can be intimidating initially but will run away if you actually try to touch her. (She is afraid of people.) A 1 yr. old Cavalier King Charles that loves everyone! Just FYI - We only allow booking 3 months in advance, so if you are looking to the future - please check back to see availability.
