Our house is a great place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Nestled in a quaint neighborhood in the Wintergreen Ski Resort with lots of fun activities in addition to skiing--wonderful hikes (just minutes away from the Blue Ridge Pkwy), many beautiful vineyards and breweries nearby. Located in Wintergreen Ski Resort near the mountain top on Pedlar's Edge. A beautiful quaint home with a large stone gas Fireplace, Gourmet Kitchen with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, a very well equipped kitchen with all the cooking accessories you would need, in addition to a Mr. Coffee Coffee pot and Keurig. Large deck with nice views of the mountains, semi-screened in porch with picnic table. 3 large Private Bedrooms (two queen beds, one double), 3 Full Baths, plus a 4th bedroom in the finished basement, downstairs with 2 bunk-beds (double on bottom) to sleep up to 6 extra guests. There is also a large utility room with full size washer and dryer for your use. Several nice restaurants located at the Wintergreen Ski Resort, just a short 1 mile drive from the house. There are several breweries/restaurants at bottom of mountain. The nearby town of Nellysford also has many nice restaurants. This house is very unique not only because of its proximity to the ski resort (one block away from the Tyro ski slope - within walking distance), but also the feeling of warmth (like being at home) you receive when you walk through the front door. Plenty to do in the non-skiing months at this resort as well, such as golfing, fishing, wine tasting, breweries, and hiking (Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trial is right around the corner). Guests access whole house. I am available to answer any questions via texting. I am limited to cell phone service where I reside, but if you text me with a request to talk on the phone, I can find a good spot to talk. I do not live in the area so I will not be there in person. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It's a fun place to walk around and explore. There are hiking trails all over and gorgeous spots to overlook the scenery of the mountains. We do not have a Wintergreen Resort Membership for the indoor pools, tennis courts, and golfing; however, we do have access to the HOA outdoor pools and can provide our guests with access as well. If your stay will be during the ski/snowboard season, you can either walk to the Tyro Slope, or use the Wintergreen ski resort parking less than a mile away. Your choice. I will send a Welcome message about a week before your stay that gives extra info and house rules to follow during your stay. It will provide to you the checkin check out information and will provide you with our WiFi password.
