One of our great Savannah vacation rentals is Fountain View Cottage. This property has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a gorgeous courtyard complete with a water feature. The location is as convenient as they come with the historic district and Forsyth Park right nearby. There are also plenty of nice cafes and restaurants such as 700 Drayton and Local 11 Ten. The space Come inside Fountain View Cottage and enjoy a living room with plenty of seating and a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals, plus conveniences like a microwave, tea kettle and coffee maker. Flat-screen TVs are in every room so you can keep up on your shows or have a movie night. Plenty of windows bring in the Savannah sunlight. The bedrooms are cozy with plush bedding and quaint decorations. Relax in the evening by stepping outside on the porch and enjoying the view. Just walking down the streets and enjoying the antebellum architecture and Spanish moss-draped trees will give you a feeling of the mystical atmosphere of Savannah. Head into the historic downtown and get ready to explore museums, famous landmarks, old mansions and much more. Make your way to Monterey Square and The Mercer House, which was built in 1860 and a big part of the well-known film and book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." Part of the movie was filmed at the house and the Mercer-Williams House Museum is available to tour. River Street is another famous part of historic Savannah and it used to be the center of trade back in the late 1800s. Old cotton warehouses are now a vibrant community of restaurants, shops and bars. There are plenty of opportunities to shop in Savannah, whether on River Street with its boutiques and galleries, or on Broughton Street with a variety of brand name retailers and local favorites. A visit to Savannah would hardly be complete without stopping at Forsyth Park. Not only will you see the famous iron fountain landmark found in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," but it is also a great place to walk, take children or spend a quiet afternoon with a picnic. Savannah is also the place for ghost hunters with plenty of old cemeteries and ghost tours to enjoy. Visit the Colonial Cemetery in the heart of downtown and explore six acres of old memorials. There's also a number of events and celebrations that go on in Savannah every year. Make sure to ask what events might be taking place during your stay. The Pool is open during the below dates and times. March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm. Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.
