Ma's Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Only a few minutes from the charming village and famous beaches of Crescent Head. Ma's Cottage is a freshly renovated 2 bedroom cottage on 2.5 acres of manicured gardens and rural paddocks. Tucked away, private and peaceful, perfect for a short term work contract or a relaxing getaway. It has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room and bunks in the other. There's a well equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The space our estate is a semi rural hamlet just a few minutes from the beachside village of Crescent Head. We are in a cul-de-sac of 2.5 acre properties, which is peaceful and serene, with an abundance of kangaroos, wallabies, parrots, lorrikeets, magpies and butcher birds . Mostly cleared as parklike lawns with swales of mixed planting native trees and shrubs, interplanted with frangipanis and other fragrant exotics. We live in the main house and Ma's Cottage was built for my mum who lived independently until she moved into an aged care facility. We have renovated her cottage with her blessings, to offer people a quiet retreat just minutes from the beach. Guest access you have your own driveway.... turning right at the letterbox rather than straight ahead (to our house). once we know what time you expect to arrive, we can meet you at the cottage and give you a brief handover with the keys. if we are not available we will leave instruction as to where to pick up the keys. This cottage has been built with limited mobility in mind. It has ramp access and a walk in shower complete with handrails and room for a shower chair, wheelchair, etc if required. Other things to note the cottage has a ramp for wheelchair access and an all access bathroom. we can also loan out a portacot, stand up paddle boards , a 2 person kayak and some beach toys. we can provide lockable garage space for motorbikes, bicycles, surf boards wetsuits, etc. Registration Details Exempt
