We are the only B&B in all of Honduras, or perhaps in the world, whose sole reason for being is to bring aid the the Indigenous Mayan Chorti Indians of Honduras and all of Central American. One hundred percent of all room revenues goes to support Paramedics For Children, who leases the Hacienda year round and runs both a volunteer and tourist program that funds their projects. This means that your tourist dollars go a long way to help the poor. Try us and discover the good you can do. The space Each bedroom has a private full bath, air conditioning and the floor plans are the same. Furnishings differ from room to room, but the bathrooms are all the same. Unlike other guest accomodations in Honduras, we are 100% USA style rooms. For example we have good water pressure, excellent showers, and above all our toilets are able to accept the flushing of toilet paper the same as any hotel in the USA. In the event of electrical loss we have a generator back up system. Guest access Our guests are allowed full access to the grounds and gardens of the Hacienda as well as our common area in ‘The Alamo’, living room, and dining room. We also have a laundry room and large refrigerator that can be used by all guests. The office and owner's apartment are private. During your stay We are popular with our guests in that we treat them like they are part of the family. The Hacienda is not a large place, and seems much larger than it appears. We are as social with our guests as they want us to be. We have two dogs "Beagley" and “Koda” who are well behaved with guests and their children. If you don't like dogs, we can keep them in their pen. Other things to note We are exactly 1,100 meters from the center of town. The walk takes about 8-10 minutes. We have a vehicle at the Hacienda, and we are always happy to give you a ride to the village. There are also small TaxiMotos that will take you to and from the village. The usual cost is about one US dollar to go anywhere in the Copan Village. Many of our guests who come by car leave their cars in the safety of the Hacienda and use the TaxiMotos because the parking in the town of Copan Ruinas is somewhat congested, especially on the weekends.
