Private Architect-Designed House in the Medina

Description

Our house is the perfect place to discover the daily life of the Marrakchis. It is the fusion between the authenticity of Moroccan craftsmanship and a modern and refined aesthetic. We have designed a unique space to make you feel at home in the heart of the most pleasant area of the Marrakech medina. The space Our architect's house is organized over a total area of 100 m2 The ground floor accommodates a bedroom with a bathroom and toilet. An interior staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a living room bathed in light and a fully equipped kitchen. On this same floor is a master suite with bathroom and toilet. The top level is a rooftop divided into two areas, with a dining and aperitif area and on the upper level a relaxation area that offers a view of the rooftops of the Medina. An outdoor bathtub/pool will allow you to cool off after walking around the Medina… Exclusive rental for up to 4 people. Our housekeeper will come EVERY DAY for the daily maintenance of the rooms and terrace. Please simply tell her the time that works for you (between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.). Please take your garbage out to the front door and clean the kitchen after use. LOCATION In the heart of one of the best historic districts of the Medina, the Mouassine district. The house is located in a derb (alley), mainly used by the locals who live there. They travel by bike or on foot, but also by moped, which can sometimes be a source of noise! We live in a quiet but lively alley, among the locals, surrounded by their daily lives and habits. From the house everything is very easily accessible on foot. Close to souks (less than a minute), Jemaa el-Fnaa square (6 minutes) and places like the Secret Garden (4 minutes) or Spice Traders' Souk (6 minutes). Known for its traditional markets, small decor shops, colorful expanses of hanging wires, dyers' souk, trendy cafes and blacksmiths' souk, the lively Mouassine district is the perfect mix of culture, atmosphere and gastronomy. This neighborhood is also ranked as one of the 49 coolest neighborhoods in the world, according to the English magazine Time Out.
