El Sonido del Rio is a 5000 sq. ft. private home with a 40 foot pool. It is situated on the river dividing Rincon from Aguada and boasts an outdoor BBQ area, massive marquesina with pool table, plenty of outdoor seating, a fruit-tree garden and river views. It is 10-15 minutes away from the beaches and towns of both Rincon & Aguada. With no next door neighbors, it is a truly private getaway. The space El Sonido del Río is a private, “resort-style” home situated in the middle of a tropical oasis. The 3 bedrooms are fully furnished with queen beds sitting on handmade wooden bed frames, nightstands, rustic custom closets & luxurious 400 count 100% percale cotton sheets. The master has its own private entrance and workspace. All of the bedrooms are equipped with brand new Samsung split AC units that are kept between 70*F and 73*F, depending on the time of year and guest’s request. The common areas are equipped with industrial sized Samsung AC split units which remain at 75*F. Changes to the AC are controlled remotely by the hosts. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your cooking necessities (from utensils, to pots and pans, mixing bowls, etc.), grilling utensils, a full set of dinner plates, cutlery and shatterproof-glasses. There are 2 full bathrooms inside the main residence, 1 of which is handicap accesible. Outside there is a split bathroom (shower and toilet in separate rooms, but next to each other). The 4th bathroom is a half bath located by the pool. The pool is 17 feet wide and 40 feet long and goes up to 5/12 feet deep. There is an 8 foot tanning ledge with Ledge Loungers at one end and a seated jacuzzi area on the other end with one long bench running alongside the pool and connecting the two areas. The pool deck is furnished with a table that seats 6, 4 lounge chairs, 3 umbrellas, a deck box with pool goodies, an outdoor shower to rinse off before entering and a half-bath for when nature calls. The pool area is gated and its two separate entrances have locking latches on each door. There is a shaded area just outside of the pool deck with a BBQ and two 4-seater patio sets. The “marquesina” or courtyard, has a life size connect-4, a Fusbol table, an XL domino table and a billiards table. Within the residence there is a cozy corner with the perfect selfie mirror and a selection of board games for those stay-inside-kind-of-days. The backyard is home to more than a dozen fruit trees ranging from starfruit, banana, lime, acerola, cranberry, june plum and mango, to name a few. The only next door neighbors you have and may get a visit from are iguanas, a variety of birds (from ducks to raptors like owls and hawks), Coqui frogs, and your usual share of Caribbean insects. Other than the river's lullaby choir of coqui and crickets, you can expect a totally peaceful and serene evening atmosphere as the sun tucks away and the pool lights flicker on. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property and residence with the exception of the 4th bedroom which will be closed and locked during their stay.
