Our comfortable flat, emblematic of Dutch modernism, was built in the late 1960s by the architect Frans van Gool. It has a private ground-floor entrance and is next to playgrounds. Walking distance is a shopping centre with supermarkets, parking, and bicycle rental, as well as a multiplex cinema and Amsterdam Noord Metro station. The entire apartment and living space is on the first floor, up a short set of stairs. Our home looks out upon large green lawns, with the living room facing east and the dining room west, ensuring light all day. Our main bedroom (Bedroom 1) has a comfortable king-sized bed (200 x 210 cm) for two people. A second bedroom (Bedroom 2) has a robust bunk-bed system containing 3 adult-sized beds with natural latex mattresses. This room contains one double bed (140 x 200 cm) sleeping up to two people, and two separate single beds (90 x 200 cm). An office study and guestroom (Bedroom 3) has a sofa that converts into a single bed (80 x 200 cm). All rooms have blackout curtains and have minimal noise at night. You can make use of our high-speed wi-fi, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, and beamer for projecting films and television. There is an office study with a desk and printer for working, and a large library of books for adults and children. Extra bed linen, towels, and shower toiletries are provided.
