The Ginger House is a 3 bedroom/1 bath retreat home for garden lovers. It has an extra large backyard that features five distinctive and specially designed flower beds and a club house for intimate wine tastings and relaxing moments to read a book or simply unwind at the end of the day. It is a perfect getaway in the city...We invite you to experience our "City Garden Oasis"! The space The Ginger house has the appeal of a rustic farmhouse in the midst of a beautiful and relaxing arrays of flowers, shrubs and grass styles in numerous flower beds found in both the front and back yards of the home. It also offers one the opportunity to experience living in a simpler time with interior features and "craftsman" style woodwork throughout all levels of the home from the 1910-1920's time period. Step back in time to the 1980-1990's with appliances from this time period perfectly maintained and in excellent working condition too! Guest access Guest access includes all levels of the home from the basement to the 2nd floor as well as the front and back yards. The backyard has 2 exterior shed structures where use of the larger exterior structure is limited as it is a separate listing and would have to be reserved as an addition to the home reservation if used during the home stay. Other things to note The Ginger House is a historical home built in 1910. As was customary during that time period, the bathroom is located on the 1st floor near the kitchen. Timing for bathroom use during the night is key as all 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor so a short trip down the steps to the bathroom must be factored in.
