Quiet lakefront getaway! Our home on Lake Monona has amazing views of our state capital over the lake and you are sure to enjoy spectacular sunsets and gorgeous views of the city lights at night. Lots of amenities such as an eight-person hot tub, lakeside fire pit, fire table, Grill and Smoker, a dock stretching out over the lake and more. Less 15 min from downtown Madison, UW Campus, Camp Randall and the Alliant Energy Center. You can have it all! The entire home is yours to enjoy. This house is perfect for a larger group. If you are planning to cook, the large, open concept kitchen with gas stove top, microwave, and two ovens would be perfect to cook for extended family or your whole friends group. Otherwise, there are lots of great restaurant options within 5-10 minutes. The beauty of our home is that even with a larger group, there is plenty of room to have your own space. In addition to the kitchen, the basement has a wet bar with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee station. There are multiple seating locations, with sectional seating in the lake room, living room and basement common area. And the 4 bathrooms in the house pretty much guarantees that every person has the private bathroom time that they deserve. Outside there is a beautiful yard and multiple areas to enjoy the sunset. The backyard space has an eight person hot tub, a fire pit near the shore perfect for s'mores, great grill and smoker for bbq or just grilling out, a fire table for lounging, and dining table patio set. You can enter through the front (whole house) or side entrance. The last 4 digits of the phone number used to reserve the booking is the code. We are welcoming you into our primary residence. If a door has been secured, we ask that you respect our privacy, but the majority of our house has been made available to you trusting that you will treat our home as you would treat your own. Within a short 5 min walk are restaurants, a lakefront beer garden, ice cream shop, and award winning (and free) botanical gardens. Our home is adjacent to the "Lake Loop," an 11 mile trail circling Lake Monona, passing through the capital and connecting you to all of Madison's bike trails.
