Our cozy Lincoln Square one bedroom apartment sleeps 2, has a fully furnished kitchen, and is close to Lincoln square shops and great restaurants/carry-out. Ample street parking & close to public transportation. Entrance to the apartment at back of building. This cozy Chicago garden- subterranean apartment contains a living room, galley kitchen area and breakfast bar. The bedroom has a queen sized bed. Single bed air mattress or portacrib available upon request There is a TV, Roku & HEPA air purifier. The apartment is located on the lower level of our building with a few stairs down. 10% discount for weekly rental, 15% for monthly. Minimum stay of 2 nights. Guests have the entire private apartment. They also have access to laundry free washer and coin dryer (takes quarters), the backyard and front porch. The entrance to the apartment is at the back of the building, down a few steps and through the laundry room. Cereal, coffee, pastries are available for breakfast and we have plenty of tourist information. We live in another apartment on the premises and would love to help you plan your stay. We speak Spanish too. Hablamos Espanol tambien. This is the Lincoln Square Neighborhood in Chicago. We have great shopping and restaurants within several blocks of the apartment. Grocery stores are also walking distance. We are 25-30 minutes from downtown Chicago via rapid transit. We are a 15 minute drive to Montrose Beach/Lake Michigan. We are 3 blocks from the brown line EL-Rockwell stop to downtown and close to Montrose, Lawrence and Western bus lines. We are 1 mile from Metra. There are also 3 Divvy bike stations within walking distance of the apartment. This is Chicago's bike sharing/rental program. There is ample free street parking on our block if you have a car. This is a garden unit in a 100+ year old building, so some of the doorways are lower. This is a consideration if you are over 6 feet tall. We are willing to accommodate one small child in addition to 2 adults. There is only one bed in the apartment, but access to an aerobed if needed. As the apartment is small, this is all that we can accommodate. There is no door between the bedroom and living room. The apartment generally stays cool because it is on the lower level, but there is no central air conditioning. A portable air conditioner is available upon request
