Cozy house in central Burlington
Cozy house in central Burlington
Description
The house is located in Burlington's Old North End -- a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Church Street, and a 10 minute walk to the waterfront area (home to summer concerts like Grand Point North and the Burlington Brewers Festival) and bike path. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with a full bed. In addition there are two couches, one in the TV room and the other in the living room. The space This is a well-lit 19th century house with hardwood floors and open living room/dining room/kitchen on the first floor. The second floor has the guest room and master bedroom, as well as a full bath. There's also a half bath on the first floor and a separate parlor/TV room. There's a small yard in back with a picnic table and a hammock that can be put up, as well as a front porch with several chairs and a glider. Guest access Guests can access any part of the house. This includes the parlor/TV room on the first floor, the backyard and front porch. Other things to note I live across the street from a convenience store, so there can be some noise in the morning from delivery trucks. The Old North End is a working class neighborhood, so there might be folks hanging out on the corner or on the stoop across the street. The plus side is the convenience store was voted as having the best burger in the state of Vermont! I have a 50 pound lab mix dog that normally lives here, but will be away. There is a window AC unit in the master bedroom, and several fans that guests can use.
