Welcome to Tequila Sunset in Harpers Ferry, WV! This beautiful, secluded home has stunning sunset views, you'll truly feel on top of the world! 100 mile vista of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. Entire first floor is yours, no shared spaces! Over 1200 SF of room to unplug & relax. King size Nectar bed, cozy indoor wood burning fireplace, outdoor firepit, 84" TV, & a private deck to enjoy the natural surroundings. Just 2 miles from the renowned Mountain Lake Club and the Appalachian Trail! The space All of the photos in my listing were taken right here at Tequila Sunset, not at some far away place! The only thing missing from them is you! The entire first floor is yours, no shared spaces! I live on the second floor and I'm extremely respectful of my guest's privacy and space. Enjoy a campfire in the outside firepit! Sit back and relax in the comfortable Trex Adirondack chairs and soak up the sights & sounds of Mother Nature. Dinner on the grill, cornhole & Yardzee for hours - is there anything better? Well, maybe saying hi to Ozzy, our resident Sulcata Tortoise! If you'd rather stay cozy indoors - there is a wood burning fireplace that you are welcome to use, along with plenty of firewood & natural fire starters! The bedroom has an attractive electric fireplace for either flame ambience, or flame ambience and heat (feel free to move it around if needed!) All windows have amazing views of the mountains and valleys. They all open and have screens. The living room has an 84" TV with a DVD player and a DVD collection for your enjoyment. All of the streaming services are there, ready for your own login. Blackout blinds cover all windows if you want the full theater experience! Plenty of cozy blankets to snuggle with on the large sectional couch & ottoman. Belly up to the retro red bar for poker, cards & your favorite beverage! The kitchenette & dining area has everything you need for your stay - A stocked Keurig coffee bar, electric kettle, toaster, electric griddle, microwave, fridge/freezer, basic kitchen utensils & seasonings. No stove, but there is a gas grill with side burner on the deck for you, propane provided! There are 2 comfortable, rollaway twin size beds with all bedding. I can set these up ahead of time if I know that they are needed. Feel free to move them around to the perfect spot! There's also a Pack'n'play with fitted sheets. The bedroom closes behind frosted glass French doors. There is a King size Nectar bed that was described by a recent guest as "sleeping on a cloud of whipped cream!" There is a loveseat & TV in the bedroom, and a dresser inside the walk-in closet so that you can truly unpack and enjoy your stay. Plenty of board games, puzzles, books and DVDs so you don't have to go anywhere to have fun. There are a couple of beach chairs for you to take to the river or lake to soak up some waterside bliss! Tequila Sunset is just under 2 miles from the renowned Mountain Lake Club! The lake beach is open to guests in season for a low daily fee ($8 weekdays, $10 weekend days) The Lakeside Bar and Grill is open year 'round, you can enjoy wonderful meals and drinks there, bingo nights, karaoke, live music, trivia and so much more! Guest access There is a private entrance and deck for entry, no shared spaces except the driveway. You will be sent your unique door code for keyless entry the day before your arrival. Tequila Sunset awaits your visit! Other things to note Booking Guest must be over 21. All unrelated guests must also be over 21. Absolutely no pets, and no smoking inside. Smoking inside could result in a $500 cleaning fee. I live upstairs on the 2nd floor. Please be respectful of boundaries. The front lower deck and front yard are for guests' use only.
