Country home in Newfield made for a family

Have fun with the whole family at this house which is located in the country but only minutes from downtown Ithaca. Have the comfort of the country but the amenities of being close to a city. The space Enjoy your stay at our newly renovated house. Our place is in a peaceful, quiet setting located 10 miles from Ithaca, NY, Cornell University and Ithaca College. We are 15 minutes to Cayuga Lake & 30 miles to the Cayuga Wine trail. Watkins Glen, located 22 miles away, has Watkins Glen International Speedway, Watkins Glen State Park with breathtaking views of natural waterfalls and located along Seneca Lake are multiple wineries. If you explore Cayuga lake and Seneca lake you will find many hiking trails, gorges, state parks, even places to rent kayaks and paddle boards. Guest access Guests will be able to use the entire house, including living room with a fireplace, dining room, full kitchen, three bedrooms, a full bathroom on the main floor with a jacuzzi tub, a full bathroom on the second floor with a waterfall shower and bench seating. Main bedroom - Queen bed Second bedroom - Full bed Third bedroom - twin over twin bunk and twin over full bunk. We have AC units in each of the bedroom windows and we do not have central AC. Other things to note We do only accept 3 day bookings on certain holiday or selected weekends. These include: Easter, Ithaca College Graduation, Cornell College Graduation, Memorial Weekend, Forth of July, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We do have AC window units in the upstairs bedrooms during the summer months. They are installed when the heating in no longer needed in the spring and taken out when guests begin to use heating in the fall. We do not have Central Air Conditioning in our house. Events are not allowed with regular reservations but will be considered by the host, including weddings, reunions and other gatherings. Please contact the host if interested.
