A 4 wheel drive vehicle with good all weather tires is NECESSARY to access this property. We are unable to help you get up the driveway, or if you get stuck* Enter the home on the first floor through the stone foyer. The main floor is appointed with a great room with high vaulted ceilings, wood fireplace, entertainment center, breakfast bar and open kitchen, a step down wet bar and a separate dining space. Large floor to ceiling windows and a sliding glass door to the back of the home bring the outside in. Entertaining is easy and fun with a large deck, gas BBQ grill, outdoor seating area, and hot tub. The first floor is rounded out with a 1/2 bath and bonus sitting area off the kitchen, plus one master bedroom w/en suite bathroom and separate sliding glass door to the deck area. The second floor provides the majority of the sleeping space and offers (3) bedrooms and an open loft and hallway that surrounds the great room. Bedroom #1 (a second master) is furnished with a king bed and en suite bathroom, bedroom #2 has a queen bed and bedroom #3 is appointed with a twin bunk and full-size bed w/twin trundle (sleeps up to 5). A gaming area for kids and adults alike is offered in the loft with a pool table, deluxe card table, and a second entertainment center. This home is equipped with state of the art electronics including smart TVs in four rooms and a blue ray DVD player in the great room. A two car garage, ping pong table, and generous driveway round out this stellar rental! Kantor's Hideout is located in the lower half of Tahoe Donner on Copenhagen. The Trout Creek Recreation Center is a 5 minute drive away where guests can enjoy a snow play area for the kids, year round pool, gym and fitness classes for a small fee. Amenities in Tahoe Donner also include the Golf center and range, "The Lodge" restaurant and pub and "Z Market Place"; which sells beer, wine, liquor, breakfast, lunch and dinner deli items, along with convenience items for Mountain Living. Located 5 minutes from Downtown Truckee and Donner Lake and 15-20 minutes to all major ski resorts, this area is perfect for families and groups looking for a centrally located and affordable Tahoe getaway. Tahoe Donner offers many exceptional amenities for a $14 per adult usage fee. This neighborhood has strict rules regarding short term rentals. Upon booking, guests are required to sign a copy of these rules and acknowledge that they are responsible for any HOA fines accrued during their stay. The mini fridge in the wet bar does not work, however, there is an additional full size fridge/freezer in the garage for your use. Please remember that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
