Quiet Private Room

Located near the beautiful Willamette River with extensive bicycling, walking/jogging paved paths, in a quiet residential neighborhood (about 20 minutes via bike path to University of Oregon and Autzen Stadium). Park in driveway, secure space available for bicycle(s) in garage near room, private bathroom and shared kitchen easily accessible in house. The space Our neighborhood had been rural until the 1980s. It continues to have some of that rural character even though it is technically part of the city of Eugene. Many homes in our neighborhood have large yards. Many people love to garden or pursue other hobbies. People are friendly. We have no sidewalks, but neighbors walk, jog or ride bikes along the street. We have excellent access to the city bus system. Almost everything local is within 10-20 minute by car, including: University of Oregon, Springfield and other surrounding communities, the public library, Lane Community College, and much more. The mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west are very accessible from Eugene, though these trips by car take over an hour. We are about 2 hours by car south of the largest Oregon city, Portland. Eugene is very outdoor friendly. There are miles of paved bike and walking/jogging paths. There are thriving breweries and vineyards in the area. Guest access We have a table and chairs in our large backyard which includes a covered patio. Guests staying at least two nights may access our laundry. During your stay Guests are welcome to contact us by phone, text or email between the hours of 8am-10pm PST, unless otherwise arranged. We enjoy meeting people and interacting, and we are sensitive to those who want privacy. We don't expect to "entertain" our guests, but can offer valuable information about our locality. Please don't hesitate to tell us what you prefer in terms of interaction and we will respect this. Other things to note A continental breakfast is provided which could include: breads, rolls, cereals, coffee, tea, milk, juice, homemade jams, butter. Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions or needs.
