The bungalow has everything you need, a highly coveted outdoor living space in a lush tropical garden with gentle ocean breeze, and blue California sky overhead. A quiet sanctuary & peaceful hub from which to enjoy all that Venice has to offer from the Beach to Los Angeles. The space Follow the path lined with Silver palms and colorful orchids reaching out to greet and welcome you to your secret oasis. Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, walking distance -- we have a walk-ability score of 85 -- to all that Venice has to offer, the studio has everything you need including a nice outdoor patio with a table, chaise lounge, chairs, umbrella and a BBQ surrounded by a lush tropical garden and the blue California sky overhead. World famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard is steps away. Restaurants for special occasions, great coffee, or trendy food trucks are all walking distance. Go North on Abbot Kinney to Felix or Gjelina. An amazing gourmet organic market, Erewhon, is on Venice Boulevard and Abbot Kinney, an easy walk. Head South one block to Washington Blvd to Scopa for a memorable dining experience. For outdoor dining, try Gjusta, Zinque, or Great White and for vegetarians, Buthcher's Daughter on Abbot Kinney. Walk a couple blocks South toward Washington Boulevard 26 Beach for burgers or C&O Trattoria for tasty Italian. Also order ahead and pick up at Win-dow on trendy Rose. Dive-bar dressed up, The Brigg or “First Fridays”on Abbot Kinney (the first Friday of each month) to sample food trucks serving everything from grilled cheese sandwiches, Lobster, tacos and more. For foodies, don't miss the Venice Farmer's market on Friday mornings and Santa Monica Farmer's market on Wednesdays. On our sunny days – which is most of them -- the bungalow is bathed in wonderful natural light, modern furnishings, high wood-beamed ceilings, skylights and views of the colorful tropical garden. Try color-adjustable chromatherapy lighting at night or on overcast days. Sleep comfortably on the dark wood framed queen size bed with soft linens and fluffy pillows. Curl up and watch TV, read a book or surf the net with the high-speed wireless internet. Easily prepare a simple meal, you have everything you need to enjoy your meal at the Oak dining table inside or outside on the sunny patio. The bathroom has overhead and hand-held shower fixture, plenty of fluffy towels of all sizes, beach towels and a few toiletries to get you started. Parking is street parking and there always seems to be a spot available day or night. You are welcomed with light goodies and water upon arrival. We speak Japanese too so be sure and inquire and we'll get back to you! Guest access Guests access the property through the secured front gate. Walk to the right of the house and thru the lush tropical garden walkway. There is a secure key pad lock code on the door.
