An ideal apartment situated one block from Union Square and very close to Greenwich Village and the East Village. This location is hard to beat as you cannot find a more convenient apartment for traveling and excursion-ing...and then getting home quickly to relax after those long days - near all subway lines, walkable to anywhere downtown. A bi-level apartment with one full bedroom (incredibly comfortable queen size bed), a spacious open living room and kitchen (with utensils/appliances), an open loft above the kitchen (with another queen sized mattress), a full bathroom, plenty of closet space and modern amenities (leather sofa and chair, floor seats, big HDTV with basic and Roku channels (HBO, ESPN, Netflix, Amazon Prime), WiFi, air conditioner, heater, board games, a great foot massager machine, and for those who want to do yoga/pilates while traveling -- yoga mats, blocks, and pillows are provided too). Accommodations-wise, this apartment can fit 6 people (2 people can sleep in the queen-sized bed in the bedroom upstairs, 2 people can sleep on the pull-out coach in the living room which is even more comfortable than the upstairs bed, and 2 people can sleep on the Queen-sized AirMattress in the loft (or in the living room),which is considered the most comfy air mattress out there. The one drawback to the loft is the narrow ladder and 5 feet high ceiling. A maid will come in and clean prior to your arrival so the place will be clean. Also, clean sheets will be on the bed and fresh lines and bath-towels will be provided in the bathroom. I also leave behind travel-sized shampoo, shaving cream, soap, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and a clothing steamer (to get rid of those wrinkles) for those who don't want to worry about these small amenities. There will be multiple sets of keys for your convenience, in case of couples/friends booking together but who want to see different things during the stay (please let me know in advance if you want more than one set of keys). If I am unable to greet you to give you the keys, keys will be left with a "key exchange" company two blocks from the apartment and their hours for pickup are: Sun 10a-7p, M-F 9a-9p, and Sa 10a-7p. You may be asked to return the keys to this spot on departure as well. If you are arriving outside of these hours, let me know and I can make other arrangements for a key exchange. Drawbacks of apartment to consider: Loft is 5 feet high with a narrow ladder to get up the loft and the air conditioner can be a bit noisy sometimes - you will notice the air conditioner on (I have plenty have fans if that is the case). The apartment is located on a quiet street (by NYC standards). NYC is a noisy city with lots of street traffic, so on occasion you may hear sirens and trucks.
