Enjoy your own private space in our large basement apartment (900 sq ft) with easy access to Boulder, Denver, and Interlocken Business Park. Conveniently situated near restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Located halfway between Denver and Boulder, either city is only a 20 minute drive away (approximately a $20-25 Lyft or Uber). The basement apartment is updated, cozy, and perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The space The basement apartment is at garden level, and enjoys plenty of sunlight from large windows, and plenty of privacy from adjustable blinds. A comfortable environment to return to at the end of a day of adventuring, and is quiet and well-suited for business travelers. Additional/Highlighted Amenities Include: - Mini Fridge - Snacks and Water - Breakfast - Microwave - Keurig Machine - Full Length Mirror - 50" TV with Netflix and Hulu - Kitchen Table - Desk with Printer - Large, Comfortable Sectional - Large Closet in Bedroom - Bathtub / Shower Combo - Washer and Dryer - Extra Toiletries Guest access The space is accessed via a shared entry, but is otherwise entirely private. The front door opens onto the landing of a staircase - going up leads to our space, going down leads to yours. So, while we may cross paths occasionally on the landing, our space does not overlap in any other way. For guests who book for longer than 4 days, we may require access to the washer and dryer at one point during your stay. We will message you ahead of time to arrange a window and will be in your space as little as possible at that time. Up to two guests are included in the listing price. An additional two guests can be accommodated (total of 4) for $20 per additional person per night. Other things to note We do have a cat and dog. The dog will always remain upstairs, and is relatively quiet - she does not bark often, typically only when there is someone knocking at the door. The cat has full access to the house - unfortunately there is no door between the upper and lower levels. We do keep the cat out of the basement bedroom and will do our best to keep him upstairs during your stay, but if you know anything about cats, you know they have a will of their own. We ask that you treat our cat with either kindness or indifference. He is generally curious and sweet, though he does not like to be handled much. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 9:00am. Additionally, one of us does work from home Monday through Friday, so we ask that during weekdays you are conscientious of noise levels from 9:00am through 5:00pm. Strict silence is not required during the day, but we ask that TV and music be set to a respectful volume. We will extend the same courtesy to you and keep our volume to a minimum during your stay. If you book your stay for more than 4 days, we may need to access the washer/dryer at one point during your visit. We will arrange this window with you ahead of time and do our best to respect your privacy.
