This secluded 2 bedroom lake cabin is the perfect place to spend some quality time with friends and family. The 2 bedroom cabin is snuggled peacefully into the south west corner of Little Rabbit Lake with an channel connecting you to the Mighty Mississippi just a stones throw. Conveniently located at the end of a country road near the NEW Sagamore Unit of the Cuyuna Country State Recreational Park MTB trails, you are given the best of both worlds. Whether you are visiting us to explore the red dirt, enjoy some amazing fishing or simply sit around the camp fire with smores, you are sure to find the "quality" in time. Guests will have private access to their own waterfront with a dock to fish off. There is a channel to the right that connects Little Rabbit Lake to the Mississippi River. The fire pit located a few feet from shore is surrounded with a red rock apron and an outdoor furniture set that seats four. The head of the paved Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is just down the road. You will also find the head of Portage Trail near by. The sounds of fish jumping, leaves rustling in the wind and the loons calling will be the only things you will hear at the lake cabin. Minnesota nice and a small town feel is emulated within this friendly neighborhood. The closest convience and grocery store is in Crosby/Ironton approximately 8 miles away, so a car is suggested for most travel. The new Sagamore Unit is a little closer at 3.5 miles around Little Rabbit Lake. This is an old school cabin in the woods, next to a lake. We do the best we can to minimize mosquitos so you are able to enjoy a campfire. Please keep in mind that nothing is "bug proof" up here. Spiders, bees, ants, and mosquitos are only a few examples of critters you may encounter. The cabin is on a hill and may not be suitable for children under 12 or handicapped.
