The very latest addition is Handicap Accessibility. We also added an EVENT STAGE! We just launched this last September with a new play and had over one hundred audience attending. Full sound and lights. Seasonal outdoor theater. And we just added a movie projector and screen for MOVIE NIGHT under the stars! Also added a Rec Room/bunk house with Ping Pong and extra sleeping area. The views from any window include forest and mountains. We are on the edge of the Lake of the Woods neighborhood. Great neighbors who keep to themselves. Step out the door past our two giant sequoia trees and you are one block from trails that will take you to Canada or Mexico - or just enjoy a short walk in the fresh air. Great hikes - we love the two mile loop into the forest - for you and your pets in the extreme southern arm of the Los Padres National Forest. Yes, it's a pet friendly house. You could park a dozen vehicles (we have!) Large RV fits right in front. Oh, we installed a new furnace and no need for aircon. If it gets hot during the day the downstairs is always cool and as soon as the sun sets, just open the windows and crank up the swamp cooler as nature cools it all down fast. And one thing that Lake of the Woods has that is awesome is you can walk to Mike's Pizza or Ray's Mountain View market. Mike's is a full on pizza and Italian food restaurant and delivers. Ray has a full deli and grill for sandwiches and burgers, great wine and beer selection, full liquor and not pricey. Guest access You get the whole house. We will lock a couple of the closets for storage. Other things to note The mountain communities are a destination for folks from the cities of Bakersfield and Los Angeles year round. In Spring we have amazing wild flowers and hiking. In Summer we are much cooler than the valleys and the Falls are simply spectacular with the change in colors. Winters are when it gets really popular if there is snow!
