Pine Mountain is an excellent walleye lake and there is room at the dock for your boat. There's a public access with a beach across the lake in Backus or head over to the sandbar with your favorite beverage and floatie. Two kayaks are also available for your use. Near the entrance to the Foothills State Forest for hiking, fishing, 4 wheeling, and snowmobiling.
