This rural property sits on roughly 4.5 acres in what feels like the middle of nowhere. Have no fear, though. You are honestly 10 minutes from everything (I know-all the listings say that-but this is true). It is Wifi friendly, and easy to find on GPS. It's a two story cape: two car garage connected by a breezeway-you'll never get snowed on again going to and from the car to the house! The breezeway also being a perfect three season spot to enjoy the view and sounds of a natural habitat. I've landscaped for privacy, birds, food, and butterflies all of which can be taken in with a morning meditation in this second favorite "room" of the house. There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom (shower stall) upstairs connected by a sitting/reading area and two bedrooms with a full bath (with tub) downstairs. The master bedroom (upstairs) is almost a house within itself measuring 17X21. This is a spacious home easily heated by the wood stove in the in living room. Presently there is about a cord of seasoned wood in the corral-all for you!). Additionally there is zoned electric heat and to top it off! A propane 500 gallon generator! You will be warm and with power all year throughout any storm, as we learned our first few months in the house when Irene visited us. Home is equipped with a brolic Electrolux washer and dryer, barely 2 years old and on warranty, kitchen appliances are in good shape, propane stove. This rural property sits back about 2 acres into it's 4.5 acres of space. I have made the entire house unique to our family and is in need of warm loving bodies to inhabit it. From every stone I've torn down and moved around, to the wind chimes as you enter what was to become my 8 year old's enchanted forest…to the carefully chosen somewhat brazen colors on the walls, this house will keep you pumping through the winter! And if that doesn't do it, than taking a stroll through the woods in the back should, just follow the old logging and ATV trails. There are plenty of areas for building Faerie Houses and or other whimsical creations around the property from the backyard's "frog pond" and fire pit to front of property's "safe stream" (both named so by my daughter, the former, hopefully obvious, and the latter as the water never gets too high to travel to without an adult but is always high enough to emit an essence of serenity and never ending imaginative games. Towards the front/side, there is a corral, I had been using for gardening but the possibilities with regard to animals, farming, or wetland restoration are endless. ANIMALS: I love them. There is an invisible fence in place with two corresponding collars all pets considered with deposit. The place is listed as furnished because I was doing short term rentals this summer.
