Escape to the woods and experience the beauty of nature in this charming, authentic log cabin. Nestled in a secluded area, this cabin is the perfect getaway for those seeking peace and quiet. Things to note: *must climb stairs* *bugs including bees, stinkbugs, ladybugs, spiders, rodents turkey, deer, and other wildlife are present/unavoidable because they too live in the woods* *Max number of guests is 4; NO parties* The cabin features a cozy living room with a fireplace, perfect for snuggling up with a good book or enjoying a glass of wine. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals, including a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. We have WiFi, and 2 TV's with Direct TV. The loft (stairs to access) bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed, and there is also a sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress in the living room for extra guests. The bathroom features a stand up shower. Outside, you'll find a spacious treehouse (outdoor living room) with plenty of seating and a grill, perfect for cooking up a delicious meal while enjoying the fresh air. The cabin is surrounded by trees, providing plenty of shade and privacy. One pet max - no pet on furniture or beds. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area, including hiking, fishing, and boating. The cabin is also just a short drive from restaurants, shops, and other attractions. We do have bugs, snakes, small rodents and other wildlife, being surrounded by the forest-be prepared and aware of this prior to your booking. Parking-please park in the gravel only and be aware no of surroundings when pulling in and out please. Water is pumped up the hill-do not overuse water please. Septic-we are on septic, do not flush or put anything down the drains besides water and toilet paper we provide. This authentic log cabin is a part of our family history going back to the 1800's; we recently re-located it and had it moved to our property. We built on a loft, kitchen bathroom and separate treehouse/outdoor living space. We do have 78 acres in total : also on the property we have our personal home along with another short term rental/Maxwell Mountain Cottage (VRBO #795626) we have been hosting for 6+ years. This log cabin is located halfway up our MAIN gravel driveway; the driveway up is fairly steep but it's our daily driveway and will be shared with others. When you pull off the main gravel driveway, you will have your own gravel parking area.
