Only 11 miles from Chattanooga, this cozy cottage is on beautiful acreage directly across the road from Chickamauga Civil War Military Park. The fenced backyard is like an outdoor room and great for pets & children. Toys for both children & pets provided (for supervised play). Small and medium sized crates, feeding bowls, & waste disposal supplies provided. Something for everyone at a private and comfortable rural home, but with all the convenience of restaurants and shopping only 3 miles away The space The cottage is on 20 acres along with two other airbnb homes and the host home, though all have private yards. Across the road is Chickamauga Battlefield Military Park which consists of 5300 acres, including many hiking and biking trails. You can enjoy sitting on the front or back porch and listen to the birds, crickets, geese and all the other sounds of nature. The private fenced back yard provides a great place to relax, grill, sit around the fire table, sit in the backyard bar and listen to music from the tv there with streaming apps. If you have well behaved pets you love to keep with you while traveling, you will especially love it here. Guest access The yard around the cottage is well defined. There is one relatively close neighbor on one side and guests and pets should remain in the cottage yard only. The rest of the property, pond and playground at the top of the hill are private and not available to our guests.
