Our chic lodge offers everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The space is well-equipped with one queen-size and two full-sized memory foam mattresses. And after a long hike or long day on the slopes, relaxing in the jacuzzi tub in your room is a must! And there is plenty of outdoor space from the outdoor bar, outdoor game area, and shared balcony overlooking the neighboring mountains to make the most of your time in the clear, crisp mountain air. The Moose and Maple Lodge gets its name from the friendly moose statue out front (feel free to snap a picture and tag us @MooseandMapleLodge) and the beauty of the surrounding mountain landscape. The lodge is a multi-unit, recently renovated boutique property. You will be welcomed the moment you walk in the door by hand-crafted log and wooden furniture, cozy sitting areas, and custom gas fireplaces that create the feel of a mountain oasis. You’ll have the convenience of a full kitchen, complete with cookware, and a dining area. The living room is open and spacious and highlighted by the custom fireplace, above which is a smart TV with all your favorite streaming services - with super-fast WiFi for all your streaming and stay-cation needs! The cabin has a gas fireplace in the living room AND master bedroom, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Each bathroom features a glass walk-in shower, and the master bathroom has the added bonus of a jacuzzi tub to highlight your relaxing stay or romantic getaway ;) Each large bedroom has its own closet with hangers and a desk area for our work-from-homers. And all the space inside the unit is completely private and only the outside areas like the balcony is being shared. The property itself has plenty of bonus amenities to explore. Hang out in the outdoor game area. You’re also encouraged to relax next to the fire pit on cool, starry nights out on the spacious balcony overlooking the neighboring mountains. So, what are you waiting for? You will access your room via the smart lock on the door anytime during your stay. The code will be sent to you prior to check-in (easy-peasy!) and will be functional from your check-in time to check-out time. We have a local manager who can be available for extenuating circumstances or in emergencies. Otherwise, you will have a contact-less check-in and checkout procedure. The neighborhood is composed mostly of lodges (don't worry, you are staying at the best around!). Nearby is beach access to Lake Tahoe, the Ski Village, and Gondola which takes you to the base of Heavenly Resort, the Hard Rock Casino and Harrah's Casino, and dozens of great restaurants and bars. Parking is onsite in the parking lot in front and along the building. Overflow parking is on the side and along the back side of the building on the street. Once you park you will be able to walk or take a Lime or Uber scooter almost anywhere in South Lake Tahoe. All the best amenities are short walk away. Please be aware that there are other guests staying in other units. The building was built in the 50’s and unfortunately sometimes noise can be heard from the upstairs units because of thin walls , but we have property managers on site for any noise complaints. Your furry friends are welcome for an additional $50 pet fee (please contact us prior to booking to ensure availability). With consideration for future guests and those with allergies, we ask that pets do NOT get on any of the furniture including the beds. Please take note of the following: We do not have Generator for power interruptions. The pool is currently not available. We have a pack and play in the guest closet. The balcony and Patio is going to be under construction, until further notice. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Yes, we are pet friendly but we only allow maximum of 2 dogs. and lastly you cannot have your parcels delivered here in the property and that the parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. I appreciate your patience and understanding. We feel that transparency is very important and want to give you an accurate picture of your stay. Many of these factors are out of our control, so we ask for your understanding when reviewing the property.
