Highlands House for Derby

Our Dutch colonial is in the popular Highlands neighborhood, conveniently located just off I-264 and Bardstown Road. You will be a 10-15 minute drive from Louisville International, Bowman Field and Churchill Downs, the renowned dining and nightlife of St. Matthews, Crescent Hill, and Germantown. The space First floor has an open concept and is great for hanging out together. The recently updated kitchen has granite countertops, new applicances, and of course a coffee maker for shaking off the night before. The comfortable living room has a couch, love seat, smart TV and wood burning fireplace. There is a newly remodeled sunroom with a desk and sitting area. Dining room is spacious and seats 6 at the table with 2 additional chairs if needed. Downstairs has a half bath. Second floor has 3 bedrooms (1 king bed and 2 queens) and a full bathroom. The back of the house had a large deck with a gas grill, lots a seating and a bar. There is a large driveway with room for three cars in the back; street parking is an option as well. The street has low traffic and the neighbors are very friendly. We have a coffee shop, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and several restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk. Guest access You will have access to the whole house. We'll be staying about two miles away. Although we plan on enjoying the Derby festivities we're only a phone call away. Other things to note We are looking for a minimum stay of 3 nights (Thurs - Sat).
