The Stoic Potrerillos - Potrerillos

Bordering the large mirror of water, the Potrerillos Reservoir at the end of the north coast, surrounded by its raw and organic beauty, along a winding road we escape from the human habitat to reach The Stoic, a unique and amazing refuge located on a hill that exposes us to the experience of the force of nature in all its splendor. Elevated, it is a viewpoint with an unparalleled panoramic view. The space LOCATION: The Stoic is located in the Private Mountain Neighborhood “Miralago de Potrerillos”, 85 km away from the city of Mendoza. We will arrive by National Route 7 to the Anderson Blog Ride Iron Bridge, crossing this bridge we access the north coast of the Potrerillos Reservoir by dirt road. Traveling along this road, you'll arrive at the neighborhood (there are signs and reference signs on this road, follow signs to Miralago de Potrerillos) THE ACCOMMODATION: The Stoic is located at the top of a hill. Upon arrival, there is parking and space for maneuvering and unloading suitcases, an open-air fire pit (stone fireplace), and then the pergola and semi-covered shed equipped with a barbecue, a large table and an outdoor shower to bathe while looking at the landscape. Attached to the pergola, in a closed space, there is a laundry kitchen, a full bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds with TV. Also here is the storage room, where the kayaks and water elements are located, a gazebo and other things to go to the coast of the Reservoir. * All these spaces are equipped with everything you need (kitchen and grill utensils, refrigerator with freezer, stove, board games, towels, sheets and others). Then we will go down the hill on a stone staircase surrounded by all the vegetation of the place, to reach the entrance of the main house. We will access it via a bridge, since the house is perched on the hill from a large and imposing concrete and metal structure. Upon entering, we will find a large space with large glass windows, to have a 360-degree panoramic view of the water mirror, the Andes mountain range and the foothills that surround us. This space has a kitchen, dining room and living room, fully equipped with kitchen utensils, coffee maker, milk frother, refrigerator with freezer, oven with stove, wood-burning stove, board games and many more things for an amazing stay. Then, there is a master bedroom with a double bed and full en-suite bathroom, and another bedroom with two single beds, a balcony and another full bathroom. We will find all the linens for our stay (sheets, towels). The house has a large opening of double-glazed aluminum sliding windows, which will allow us to go out to the huge terrace suspended in the air, which gives us a unique viewpoint. It is equipped with a large armchair for 6 people. All the aforementioned spaces are equipped with Black Out roller system curtains and a vertical band system to filter the light as you wish. NOTE: IF YOU WANT ONLY ONE NIGHT, PLEASE ASK ABOUT THE ADDITIONAL FEE FOR EXTRA COSTS. Guest access You'll have access to all areas of the property. In the event that there are up to 4 guests, the beds will be left ready in the rooms of the main house only. If there are more than 4 guests, both the beds in the rooms of the main house and the beds in the room attached to the social area are prepared. Other things to note The property is 100% sustainable, has solar panels to supply the electricity grid, bottled gas pipes, spring water and a sewage system by biodigester and nitrifying bed. Therefore, we ask that you use these precious resources CONSCIENTIOUSLY. Use electricity wisely at night and on cloudy days, and measure the water used by all fixtures. Do not flush paper down the toilet.
