The space A tropical, open- air villa with King size bed, kitchen, living room, wi-fi, and bathroom with hot shower, this one bedroom villa is rated V .I. P., Very Intimate Place, situated way up high up the hill amongst tropical gardens on Pineapple House property, overlooking the whole of Falmouth Harbour, Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Monks Hill and Sugarloaf mountain with all its variant activity. This villa has its own kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, kitchen sink and basic utensils. The private, en-suite bathroom has hot-water rain shower. There is a private living room with stunning view of yachts and mountains overlooking turquoise Falmouth Harbour, and a bedroom with King-size bed, fan, reading light, and mosquito net. Cleopatras is a superior cottage at Pineapple House, because it is the largest and has fully equipped kitchen and hot water shower, plus wi-fi. Located just above the main house on the hillside, with Hibicus Guest House under it, Cleopatras has steps up a steep hillside to negotiate, but there are not as many steps as at Bird House, yet Cleopatra's goes for the same price as Bird House and has similar amenities and good internet signal... The view of Super Yachts at the marina and the mountains surrounding Falmouth Harbour is stunning from up there. Pineapple House is a great place to catch up on reading and writing. People who stay here meet people, both within the compound of Pineapple itself and at bars and restaurants on Yacht Club Drive. Pineapple House caters to the crew off the yachts and AirBNB guests alike. During regattas, sailors off the racing yachts prefer to stay at Pineapple House, as the Antigua Yacht Club Marina is three steps away. Bars, restaurants, night clubs, spas, car rental outfits, fitness clubs, grocery store are steps away. Pigeon Point beach is a five minute walk, where Bumpkins Bar is the perfect place to watch the sun go down and there's a fancy French restaurant there as well that is expensive but worth every penny at the other end of the beach. English Harbour offers a safe, trendy neighborhood, where excellent Italian and French restaurants are within walking distance for dine in or take out. Antigua offers some absolutely stunning, white, sandy beaches and is one beautiful, friendly, safe island. These complete units in our friendly "family-orientated" atmosphere are perfect platforms from which to explore the island, and guests are invited to join LIbby and her guests in the main house for cocktails each night. Cleopatra Cottage is open from late October to May annually. Guest access Please feel free to walk around the gardens and join us in the main house for sundowners at sunset.... There is a lounge in the main house, where you can surf the web (if not in your private cottage), and a little gazebo next to the main house gets good internet reception as well, although the light has to be on for the electrical outlet to work. Though we prefer not to do guest laundry, due to water scarcity, we do have laundry facilities on property for a small fee. The garden is for everybody to enjoy with guava trees, mango trees, banana trees, avocado, lemon, and passion fruit, and every manner of tropical flowers and foliage. Other things to note There is no TV or air conditioning at Pineapple House. Guests are invited for sundowners at the main house each evening. All the cottages are open to the wind, and mosquitos do make their way in. Each bed has a mosquito net, fan, and reading light, and there is a Mosquito Magnet in the yard, which we rebait every three weeks. Guests are asked to use water sparingly, as water is scarce on the island. Pineapple House has wonderful ocean views, but there are lots of stairs; we are located on a steep hillside.... Pineapple House caters primarily to couples; dormitory-style beds are available for individuals in the main house. Internet is available in the main house and gazebo only; we welcome guests to use the service in the main house any time. We are open from October to May.
