This renovated 1884 Carriage House has been completely updated with white oak hardwood floors, modern kitchen with all amenities, large bedroom with a king bed, and full bath with a washer/dryer. The home has both heat and air conditioning wall units on both floors. A few original windows and wood beams add to the charm and character of the space. This is a cozy, modern, and comfortable interior with a few 1884 original features that add character to the space. All linens, towels, soaps, shampoos, laundry, coffee, dishware, cooking oils, and spices are provided. We are located 3 blocks away from the Ithaca Commons, which is a local pedestrian mall with restaurants, bars, shops, and night life. We are also within a five minute drive to both Ithaca College and Cornell University, and within a ten minute drive to two state parks known for their hiking trails. You will have access to the entire Carriage House, the yard off of it, and lone access to the driveway. There is also a grill near the main house that Carriage House guests can utilize. We live 7 minutes away and can be available via text/phone or in person if needed. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The Carriage House is located in the Henry St John Historic District within the City of Ithaca. There is plenty to do within walking distance. Essentially, this location is desirable because it is close to anything you might need. Walking distance to the Ithaca Commons, grocery stores, and retail. The central bus stop is just over 3 blocks away (about a 5-7 minute walk). Uber, Lyft , and the local taxi services are also available if needed. Lastly, the Tompkins Regional Airport is approximately 10-12 minutes by car.
