The home was built in 1905 giving it is unique old world charm but with the conveniences of today’s modern lifestyle. The ceiling height is 9’6” giving you the impression of space and breathing room. The ceiling fans help to keep the place either cool or warm depending on the season. Time flies when you are in the kitchen: working on the computer, studying, or eating. When you use the shades and curtains in the bedroom, you may feel like staying in bed for longer than expected. This House is very large and it is divided into two parts making it a duplex. The south side of the house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room with a LED Flat Screen TV, high speed internet, a beautifully remodeled kitchen with high end appliances and plenty of cooking tools, and a utility room with a washer and dryer. This is perfect for someone on a job assignment for a few months, relocating, in transition, retired, or just taking a break. I live in the Central Coast but I have someone staying close by who can greet you. The kitchen has high end appliances Bosch: dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. Black granite counter tops and white shelves with beautiful and easy sliding drawers. The refrigerator is stainless steel and made by Fisher Paykal. The two bedrooms have nice artwork, a comfortable feel to them, a memory foam bed in the main bedroom, lovely rugs, and good lighting. The bathroom was remodeled in 2022 with a walk in shower, beautiful tile inside the stall area and on the floors, new toilet vanity, and a nice shelving system alongside the shower stall. Led light fixtures help to make this area cheerful and bright. The house is close to the wine train, bus station, Napa County fairgrounds, a myriad of restaurants, Oxbow, The Napa Riverfront, Wine tasting rooms, Cafes, and the new 12 plex movie theater. This is downtown Napa. What makes this place unique is that you can do so much from this location and retreat to a nice quiet home in the evenings and weekends. During the day there are many activities close by. Napa is growing and this home is in an ideal location for fun. You have access to the yard and my handyman has access as well. Your unit is private and only you have access to the interior space. There are two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, small living room, and a utility room which houses your own washer and dryer. The owner does not live in Napa. However, my handyman has his own small apartment on the premise with his own entrance nearby. He is very busy working but available to greet you and to give you the key. He fixes almost everything quickly, so if you have an issue please let us (him know) right away. The house is in downtown Napa, so you can walk over 3rd Street bridge and easily buy your cup of Joe or find a restaurant. Oxbow is two blocks away and Napa County Fairgrounds is located about a block away. The Napa RiverWalk is paved trail system that runs along the river, so bring/rent a bicycle or walking is an option. In-Shape Health Club is near Home Depot, which I love love love (two stories) and is about a five minute drive from the house. You have great views of the Napa river while working out and access to an outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Steam and dry saunas are at the facility as well. The walk score is 89 making it an ideal place to get around for entertainment, nature, food/beverages, and retail shopping. Most people bring their own cars. Bottle Rock is once a year during the end of May. You can sit in the back yard and hear the music, but it really is delightful or attend the event by walking over to the venue.
