Classic hill country cabin with amazing views from its perch on a cliff on the Guadalupe River. Located on a large ranch hosting exotic and native wildlife. Relax in the plunge pool and settle in for an unforgettable retreat. The space "The Bunkhouse" as called by the family for generations was recently updated to share with guests the unique experience of being nestled away on this special spot of the Ranch in the Texas hills. Where only 30 minutes away from the bustling city of San Antonio you can escape to the Bunkhouse surrounded by the peaceful sound of the Guadalupe River rapids flowing through the valley beneath your feet. From the deck, through the sound of the river echoing through the hill country you can stretch to hear the birds, deer, wind coarsing through the creaking oak trees, and all depths of the natural backdrop. Inside: features are well appointed with a full kitchen, dining nook, living area with full sized futon couch (Linens provided when requested only), 2 bedrooms with queen beds, full bath with rain shower over river rock floor, and soaker tub. Outside: walk through windowed door where the back deck hosts a temperature controlled plunge pool (heated September-May) with 8 jets and infiniti edge where water appears to fall into the Guadalupe River below. The deck also features a propane grill and picnic table. There are as many amazing views from the deck as there are square feet; the best spot on the Ranch to enjoy a glass of wine, especially at sunset. Outside you will also find a fenced in yard with gated entry and stone fire pit. Please contact the Owner for more information.
