There is plenty of "green belts" which remain as natural areas for monkeys and wildlife to roam. We have night security in the community. A local store for basics supplies and 4 local restaurants for a range budgets and tastes. Uncrowded beaches. Great surf. Turtles. Quaint roads with low traffic. Rental car is best but you can manage well without one. There is a twice daily local bus and shuttles to and from the airport all that can be arranged for you when you stay with us. The nearest International Airport is in Liberia, about 45 minutes drive from the house. San Jose Airport would be 5 hours drive. Both transfers are affordable by shuttle. We have a wonderful local service that brings fresh fruit and vegetables to your front door several times a week.
