My guest rooms have a shared bath between two guest rooms. It is not set up for groups renting multiple rooms. Located in a quiet neighborhood on spacious 1/3 acre. Deck has panoramic views overlooking Palisades Tahoe ski area and is near Everline Conference Center. An easy walk (non-snow) to The Village at Palisades Tahoe/Scenic Cable Car. A charming nomad "work from home" or locals lodging. I think you will find that this is a friendly, special place to stay. I love that many guests return again and again from all over the world. Sorry, due to my extreme allergies, no animals allowed on property. My unique ski cabin is clean, has lots of light and one of the nicest views in Olympic Valley. I really enjoy hosting guests who arrive from throughout the world. It is like staying with friends or relatives. With my studio next door, I often come to the main house to spend some time on my computer. Take the spiral staircase to your cozy guest room, It has a SLEEP NUMBER bed w/ DUAL ADJUSTABILITY. Linens are provided, as well as hair dryer, and towels. Shampoo, conditioner, amd body wash are in the bathroom. STAYING CONNECTED_WORK STATION: High-speed internet is throughout the cabin and your television is set up with NETFLIX. There is an adjustable table and chair as a workstation in each guest room with charging station outlets. House Quiet Time is 9pm to 7am. ||| COMMON AREAS - available 7am-9pm PST||| LIVING ROOM has 23 ft ceiling, amazing views and walls of mostly glass. Enjoy the view of giant, rugged mountains that surrounds the valley! MAIN FLOOR & KITCHEN available until 9PM sharp.: Guests provide own food and drinks, spices, condiments, oils and butter . -- Kitchenette/coffee station includes guest microwave and toaster, personal mid-size refrigerators & a pantry storage bin for your dry goods for every guest room and personal/distanced dining tables. AND -- Full Kitchen. Well supplied with high-end appliances, dishes, glasses, pans and silverware. Includes professional 6-burner gas range, cooking island with prep sink and toaster oven (bakes 14 in. pizza); no standard oven at this time. Restaurants and pubs nearby. Summer time, enjoy a scenic deck including grand views; large umbrella and chairs await you. A great location for a cup of coffee in the morning. Work from your lap-top in the fresh mountain air. Or simply star-gaze at the Milky Way on dark cloud-free nights. Winter time, I offer an IDEAL LOCATION. SO close to the slopes! Avoid the congested hour long commute to and from Truckee or Tahoe City and beyond. My home was purchased because it is SO near the slopes. It is less than a mile from the parking lot at Palisades Tahoe. FREE Mountaineer Shuttle is scheduled to provide picks right in front of my house and can take you anywhere in the valley, on-demand mid Dec to mid April! Isn't this what you are looking for? Mid December to mid April, Free on-demand shuttle bus takes you anywhere in the valley ~7am-9pm (time varies each year). - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LAYOUT of my 4 bedroom_2 bath house BE SURE you are comfortable climbing stairs. Three story home with entry on the middle floor and a spiral staircase between all levels. TV’s with Netflix on a FireStick in each guestroom. UPSTAIRS: Rooms 1 and 2 have a shared bathroom (with shower) between them. Each room has vanity sink and mirror. MIDDLE ENTRY /ENTRY FLOOR: 23 ft of ceiling, kitchen and coffee station, toaster oven, personal dining tables, and refrigerators. DOWNSTAIRS: Rooms 3 and 4 have shared bathroom (with shower) between them. Room 4 also has a vanity sink and mirror; room 3 does not. It has an charming electric fireplace. I come and go… and guests come and go. I think the reason that people choose my lodging is because they look for a comfortable "Enjoy Tahoe Like a Local" experience... and find it when they stay in my home. To Relax, Refresh, Unwind… this is the place. Come enjoy my home and my beautiful views of Palisades Tahoe/Squaw Valley USA. The north shore of Lake Tahoe and especially Olympic Valley home of Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley USA) have so much to offer. DO A SEARCH FOR NORTH LAKE TAHOE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; they have web pages with local events and entertainment. I have a quiet neighborhood and wonderful views of Palisades Tahoe ski slopes. Non-snow time, near hiking (check out our valley's waterfalls!) and biking trails, (BRING A BIKE or rent one nearby!) A short drive to Lake Tahoe for boating, river rafting, free beaches, and quaint little towns and museums to discover. Wintertime, you will be just a few blocks to Palisades Tahoe. The free Mountaineer Shuttle will pick you up at the house and take you anywhere "on demand".... from dates in December through dates in April. You will be near The Resort at Squaw Creek Conference Center, about one mile to the Village at Squaw Valley (many shops including Starbucks) and the SV Cable Car. You will be near both fine and casual dining, hiking and biking trails, year-round events, wine tasting, just 5 miles from Tahoe City, and 8 miles to Historic Truckee! About ½ hr away, you can try your luck at the North Shore Casinos. Have you planned enough time for your trip? There is SO much to do. Please notice that there is no cleaning or security fee… because I want you to feel welcome and come stay at my lodging again. :-). Thank you to all of you who come back so often. Due to my extreme allergies, ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS or assistance animals can be brought onto my property. I offer a natural setting. No smoking, vaping or drugs on property. This is also a fragrance-sensitive lodging; thank you for not wearing any cologne/after-shave or perfume during your stay. Snow Time: As with all lodgings at Tahoe, you must be experienced with driving in the mountains with possible ice and snow. Make sure you have AWD or 4WD with snow tires. At the very least… carry chains with snow tires. Simply, be prepared. Sometimes the weather can surprise us! AND, I am in and out and cannot accept packages for you. You could have them delivered to the Post Office. Ask for details. 30-or-more night stays are offered April-mid December in five bedrooms at ~$50/nt. Please contact with your interested dates.
