Welcome to our house! We live in East Golden, right next to an open space, close to downtown Golden, the light rail to Denver, Red Rocks, and highways to the mountains-- < 1 hr from skiing! Close to many parks w/ hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking. Many food+drink options ranging from our neighborhood brewery to chain restaurants in the nearby mall and plazas. The house is powered by rooftop solar and we have a large backyard which is home to our 5 hens whose eggs you can eat for breakfast! The space ***COVID UPDATE. We will block day before and after every booking to allow any potential virus (airborne or on surfaces) a high chance of dying. And we will wash everything and clean & sanitize all surfaces as usual.*** The space you are renting is our basement. It is separated from the main level where we live. You go through the front door to get into the space and then downstairs. Our level is separated with an interior door and we will use the back door when you are here. The basement has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large open common area with a living room, dining area, and kitchen area (with sink, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, kettle, mini-fridge), and laundry. The bedrooms each have key locks on the doors, so you can safely store belongings. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, desk, dresser, large egress window that gets lots of natural light, closet, and fan. Bedroom #2 is smaller, has a queen bed, desk, and nightstand/ small chest of drawers. The furnace and water heater are in the closet of this room, so you may hear the furnace fan blowing during winter months (it's not bad - just want to make sure you know. And we have earplugs in the room for you should you want them). The common area has a sofa sleeper that is about the size of a full bed. We have a foam pad for it which helps, but some guests still might not find it the most comfortable. The common area also has a projector TV with a ROKU logged into Netflix, Hulu, HBO NOW, Disney+, Amazon Prime, ESPN+, YouTube TV and others. We have a collection of board games for your entertainment as well (inside the coffee table chest). There is also a kitchen area in the common area with a sink, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, kettle, and mini-fridge. Coffee, tea, drinking water, snacks, plates, cups, silverware, spices provided. Washer and dryer available for use. Please keep in mind that this is a pet friendly Air BNB. We do our best to clean and remove all pet hair after a furry traveler stays but cannot guarantee that the place will be 100% pet hair free. Guest access There is a keypad on the front door.
