Beautiful private home on the much sought-after South Channel of Harsens Island. Complete with 100 feet of private sandy beach, dock and a boat hoist. Perfect location to soak up the sun with beach activities, great fishing off the dock, or take your boat out for a day of water skiing and tubing on the river. The river is also welcome to jet skis, paddle boards and canoes, or simply hang out at the end of the dock as you bask in the awesome sightseeing of freighters and boats passing by.. The space This 3 bedroom home was built in 1900 and has been in my family since 1946. With many updates over the years, plenty of amenities await you.. Full laundry, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and a gas grill for those backyard BBQ's. Bed sizes include 1 King (Tempur-Pedic w/river views), 1 Queen , 1 Full and 1 Twin. There is also a Serta Queen air mattress for use. And there is common floor space for your sleeping bags, if needed. There is an AC unit upstairs, ceiling fans in every room in the home, as well as oscillating fans. The wrap-around enclosed front porch is something to be marveled. Take in morning sunrise views with coffee, sneak in an afternoon nap with the breeze from the river, or congregate with friends and family for an evening cocktail as the sun sets. There's also a Precor Treadmill to get your workout on.. There are a few beach chairs and chaise lounge chairs available on the property, as well as a handful of fishing poles. Plenty of storage available if you bring your own beach chairs, too. My family has created 73 years of memories here, and we hope you're able to start your own here, too!
