This rustic-modern space has a kitchenette, fridge, freezer, filtered water, microwave, hot plate, toaster and several coffee makers. Deer are daily visitors, along with a variety of wild birds and many other friendly critters. Over 900 square feet of relaxed, peaceful living in this Retreat at AntlerWood Hollow. How are we in the middle of the woods, yet only 4 minutes from the heart of Oregon's capital city? Remodeled in late 2017, much thought has been put into this ground floor escape. Friends and guests describe this home as "the most Oregon home" they have ever seen. I agree. I love Oregon and this property has the best of Oregon. The space has a world travelers' theme with little hints of Oregon. This listing includes the guest suite and shared great room. I use the utility room on occasion, and you can use it for laundry, too, any time you need it. I'm available to make recommendations or have an evening drink. This home is about a half-mile from a neighborhood park, and just one more mile to the largest connected park system in the country! The property is on a country road and so you won't run into neighbors. By car, Uber or Lyft. I see happy road bikes on my country road all the time but there are no shoulders for a mile in either direction. Some guests who have at&t mobile devices have poor connections while inside. If your device offers wifi-enabled calling, hook up to my super-fast wifi for better service. The property has motion detecting cameras outside in the driveway and at the guest entrance, and at the entrance to the walking trail at the tip of the stairs. These cameras are always on. The guest suite and shared spaces are decorated with antique film cameras from the 1930s to 1960s. These cameras are not on, nor recording, nor capable of recording video.
