At the end of the hall you’ll find a full bath and a Queen bed in the first bedroom. The Primary Suite has a king bed and renovated full bath. When you’re ready to start your day, just cross the street to tour St. John’s Episcopal Church, known for its melodious chimes and magnificent stained glass windows. In 1942, St. John’s the Green-Meldrim House, one of Savannah’s finest examples of Gothic Revival architecture. During the Civil War, General Sherman occupied the Green-Meldrim House and penned his famous telegram to President Lincoln, presenting the city of Savannah as a Christmas present.
