Description

For conscientious travelers/You will use an area of the house exclusively for you/Not suitable for making noise/using speakers/excessive alcohol. *This ecological house combines an incredible view in a natural garden with design architecture; if you value environmental and social sustainability and are looking for a beautiful place to be in the tranquility of nature and with good internet, it is perfect for you*Ideal for HO// relax & recharge// chic&sustainable vibe The space Amatlán is a small town nestled in the Sierra del Chichinautzin. The traces of its history can be felt in the ancient mountain roads that its inhabitants care for and treasure, in the stone walls, and in the night that falls softly, full of organic sounds. The guest space has an unparalleled view and is carefully cured and designed to welcome you in a magical atmosphere with attention to detail. The landscape you see from the terrace changes with the seasons: it can be a jungle full of greenery and floral explosiveness, and then a field full of ocher seeds. You have Chiapas coffee included. There are BBB options for eating in the area, a heater, a refrigerator, and basic kitchen utensils. I love sharing this space with respectful and proactive travelers, and giving them my best recommendations for local and unique experiences. *we appreciate silence, please do not use speakers and avoid making noise after 8pm* *the host lives in the other part of the house, please be considerate.* Guest access Easily accessible by car and public transportation. Good road to get there, 8 km- 15/20 min from Tepoz. Here you can get around on foot or by minibus/taxi if you want to go to Tepoz. Local guides can take you on amazing hikes nearby. For everyone's safety, don't go to the mountain alone. The guest area has a separate entrance and is attached to the main house. It includes parking, automatic gate, QS room, covered terrace, basic utensils for eating and heating, campfire area and 1000 m2 natural garden, not shared with other guests. Other things to note In the rainy season there are rivers and waterfalls, and pools of crystal clear water form (June-September). In the dry season, we take care of the water we collect from the rains and the biodiversity of the place, so everything takes on shades of ocher. Enjoy the sounds of nature, don't use speakers ;) The original inhabitants ask us to only go to the mountain with a local guide. Local restaurants only accept cash. There are massage and temazcal options in the area. At home we have the modem connected to solar panels so that there is never a lack of internet and there is also very good connection speed. Because it is in the mountains, during the rainy season there are often temporary power outages (which does not affect the internet). You can get there by public or private transportation (8 km from Tepoz). In times of drought (Jan-May) avoid making fires, it is the fire season :( In the rainy season everything becomes jungle, there are storms and the power may go out temporarily, which does not affect the internet (Jun-Sept). In Amatlán and some places in Tepoz, there is no internet or 4G signal.
