Built in 1887, the Gillis-Grier Bed & Breakfast offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing stay in our Queen Anne Victorian home. Here you come as guests, step back in time, and leave as family. We are on the premises 24/7 (although we do not share a floor with you) we are able to help at any time. We are located in the center of the Newtown Historic District. There are plenty other homes nearby with the same Victorian esthetic. We live down the street from the Poplar Hill Mansion (a Victorian home offering tours) there’s plenty of museums, and outdoor activities. Within walking distance is the Downtown Salisbury Center with local shops and restaurants. We are close to many famous areas such as the town of Berlin, The Assateague Islands, and the Dover Downs, and last but not least Ocean City Maryland. You’ll never run out of things to do nearby. We offer our guests one parking spot per booking at no charge, we ask that all additional vehicles are parked on the street (also at no charge).
