Great for couples and singles. This is a newly renovated very spacious suite (separate bedroom with full private bathroom and kitchen) within a very safe, clean, green, bright and quiet building. Private access, own key, upstairs privacy. Located in the residential side of downtown Alajuela walking distance to everything. It has very high ceilings which makes it a more spacious, bright and cool temperature. IMPORTANT - WE CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH and we keep high hygiene practices. We hand your keys in a sealed plastic bag - and we expect you to return them the same way - they are always disinfected. All towels and linens are washed in high temperatures and machine dried. Everything in the apartment is fully disinfected daily and we provide liquid soap and supplies during your stay. Guests will get keys to the main gate in the sidewalk which opens to a short walk to the upstairs suite, private entrance - not shared. Guests will get their own set of keys. The apartment is in the residential side of downtown Alajuela which is safe, quiet, with people are friendly and helpful. The place is within 1.5 - 2 blocks of trendy places to eat, including TripAdvisor’s #1 ranked restaurant in Alajuela, Pesqueria da Limonta, or if you prefer Taco Bell and McDonald´s. Our local corner convenience store, branches of 2 banks, Juan Santamaría park and nearby Plaza Real will make your stay in downtown Alajuela much enjoyable and relax. This is a great location with the best of two worlds, the benefits of being downtown close to everything and very short distance to the airport. Within downtown Alajuela, your entire life is at hand because it is walking distance, short walks! If you want to go outside Alajuela, 3 blocks away is the main depot for buses to San Jose. Taxis are around the corner or Uber cars available. Private tours make stops upon arranging with them, as it is right on their way to the main tourist attractions. If you are renting a car I can find a space for parking (please discuss earlier with time, additional fee might apply). Uber cars are easily available in the downtown area of Alajuela. We are a green-friendly house, so please turn off lights, fans, and non-essential electric appliances when not at the suite. There is no parking space. At times I might find one, upon request, for an additional fee. Inspection of the apartment will be done upon arrival, so we both agree that everything is good condition, and it should be likewise by the check-out time. Keep space clean, do not eat in the bedroom. Guests are responsible - and should pay - for any damages to the property, to household appliances, to furniture and/or to all valuables inside the suite. For guests staying more than 3 days, cleaning service is provided - it does NOT include cleaning of kitchen or utensils, that should be done by guest.
