Chequers - ocean views at the edge of Hamilton.

Chequers Upper Ocean unit offers a comfortable room with glimpses of the North Shore and the combination of a garden and pool setting on the edge of Hamilton City. The pool is shared with 2 guest units and the owner, who lives in the main house. The entrance to Chequers Ocean is seperate, to the side of the main house. Come and stay where the tree frogs sing you to sleep and the birds serenade you awake. The space Nestled in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Hamilton (Town). Guest access Gated garden and pool are common spaces. Other things to note During these unpredictable times, we are strongly suggesting guests take out travel insurance to cover any costs or delays due to unforeseen circumstances in COVID related issues including airline schedule fluctuations or weather related issues, such as hurricanes given September is the peak of the season. Just want to makes sure your travel risk is considered! I do not reccomend specific companies, just a nudge to remind guests that this protection is more warranted now as opposed to pre-COVID. WiFi is "Chequers Guest", no password required. There is a "point of entry" 4 level filtration system to the house, which makes the tap water filtered and safe to drink. Guests must turn the airconditioning off when not in the room. Electricity is very expensive in Bermuda and this way we can keep the cost down for all to enjoy. Please conserve water- yes use what you need, but please understand that in Bermuda our water is collected via rainfall on our roof, thus when it is dry we risk running out and have to truck water to the house. Kindly conserve water use so that others behind you have what they need. Recycling in Bermuda is for "TAG"- tin, aluminium & glass only. Not plastic, paper or cardboard. Please place TAG items in blue bin and all other trash in black bin. We will clean the room, however should you feel the need to dispose of some trash, there are bins on the opposite side of the house, near our little garage (north shore side of house) blue one is for recycling, others for garbage. Should you need any cooking wares, eg. to use the BBQ, or portable range, please ask, we have pretty much everthing! Help yourself to any floatie in the storage bench pool side... or toys if you like! Just please return them when done. Have fun & enjoy Chequers & Bermuda!
