The AYA house has the privilege of being particularly pleasant and cool on hot days because it is surrounded by doors and windows overlooking the abundant forest and the charming companies of the Solidão hill (among which are families of monkeys, toucans, parrots, hummingbirds and others...). In winter it also becomes one of the best places on the island for whale watching: an open 360° view right from above the sea, which you can enjoy whatever the weather from our covered deck. Note: please note that the house is only accessible on foot via a path of approximately 80 steps up the woods from the last place where you can park the car (parking is available on the main street of the Barrio via free spaces or via private parking lots charging 10 reais per day). This climb may appear tiring, but the first reaction we always get when arriving at Casa AYA is how much "this view makes up for any climb" :) Even so, we do not recommend renting the house to people with physical difficulties or medium to important motor difficulties, as we cannot make improvements to access the House due to the minimal impact we want to have on the forest. Also note that because it is still a well-preserved place, the Solidão neighborhood (and then just like our house) only gets a signal from Vivo and a little from Tim (depending on the location). Other operators do not have reception, but we now have 2 high-quality Wi-Fi networks at home that ensure a possibility of connection with the world and even an interesting experience in Home Office.
